The Shade and The Physicist combo works really well. Since the balls are affected by gravity, they bounce rapidly and reach you very quickly. Once you upgrade the Dark Ball into the Assassin version, pair it with the Ruby Hilted Dagger — enemies will go down fast. Because the balls bounce around so much and hit early, the Rubber Band passive is also a great addition to keep the momentum going.
